Alternate Visions
Picture a world where everything you had known was ripped away in a moment. All of your friends and family shunted out of existence. Then picture getting shunted back home, only not everyone makes it back. The world you knew is no longer what it once was. Billions of people never made it back from the Void. Societies re-build and make new lives for those that remained. People marry, children are born, and some folks die. Much as it had before the Void, life goes on, if a bit different than it did Before.
Alternate Visions is a look at a What If...? world in the Marvel Universe. Your character has been born years after a disastrous event known only as the Void that occurred back in the 80's. The emergence of a mutant had gone horribly wrong. In a fit of pique, he had actually shunted the Earth into nothingness. Panicking, he wrenched the planet back, but many did not come back from wherever they had been. No one knows who the mutant was, only that he was one of those that did not come back. Billions of people were lost. Now, over twenty years later, the world has begun to fall back into it's older patterns. The US is much the same as ever. President Steve Rogers has held the country together for the last sixteen of those years and looks to win the election later this year again. Schools still provide a much needed place to educate and teach children. Especially as most of those who were able to return were mutants.
This site is for the Massachusetts Academy. Players are PL9-12 depending on their grade in school. Enjoy!
